Greek Independence Day - March 25, 2007 Video A beautiful day for a parade, along with a good crowd of onlookers and marchers made this a day to be remembered.
Veterans Day - Celebration - November 5, 2006 We celebrated our 11th annual Veteran’s Day commemoration . We had as keynote speaker Lt. Col. Sotirios Kasselouris from the Greek Embassy. Also we had the District #3 Governor, Nick Vamvakias with us. The veterans’ committee worked hard to make a memorable event with these two distinguished guests.
District Convention in Baltimore - June 2,3,4, 2006 The 75th District #3 convention was held in Baltimore and most of the chapters in the district were represented. The photos here are posted on the District site and it is there where you will be directed.
Greek Independence Day - March 26, 2006 A chilly Sunday was the setting for this years Baltimore Greek Independence Day Parade in Greek-Town. A large crowd was there to view the largest G.I.D. parade in Baltimore history.  Unfortunately our Chapter was sparsely represented  since some members chose to march with other groups in the community. Many notables were there including the Governor of Maryland, the Mayor of Baltimore as well as the Supreme Governor of AHEPA, Gus James.
Veterans Day - Celebration - November 7, 2004 The 9th annual Dinner to honor our Veterans was held at Ikaros Restaurant on November7th. Guest Speaker was Paul Agathokles, who spoke on his experiences with the Cypriot National Guard.
Scholarship Awards and Installation of Officers Dinner - September, 2004 The setting was at the New York Inn, where five deserving young people received scholarships of $1000 each; And the newly elected officers of our chapter were sworn into office.
District Convention - June 12-13, 2004 Historic Williamsburg was the site of this years annual Distric #3 Convention. Three brothers took the scenic trip to attend and participate in the activities.
Lenten Luncheon - April 4, 2004 A Palm Sunday Lenten Luncheon was hosted by our Chapter at the Annunciation Church Hall where there was a respectable turnout.
Greek Independence Day - March 28, 2004 A good crowd came to view a parade loaded with many exciting entries. AHEPA and DOP were represented by about over a dozen local and national chapters. Our Chapter had a good representation as shown in these photos.
Initiations -Feb. 4, 2004 A dinner meeting at Pappas' Restaurant was the scene of an innitiation for three new members to Chapter 30.

Veterans Day - Celebration - November 10, 2003

The Chapter honored their vets at Ikaros Restaurant. Brother Nicholas Krial acted as MC and Brother Dr. Pete Nickolas introduced Brother Benedict Glyphis, a retired US Airforce Colonel who spoke on his carrer as a fighter pilot.

Greek Independence Day - March 29, 2003

A cold, rainy Saturday was the setting for this years Baltimore Greek Independence Day Parade in Greek-Town. Though attendenv\ce was low, those present participated enthusiastically. Our Chapter, though represented by about 15 members, some chose to march with other groups in the community.

Shrimp Dinner - March 16, 2003

A well attended after-church lenten dinner was held at the Fr. Monios Hall at the Annunciation Cathedral on March 16th. Candy Soulakis coordinated the event, and received many complements on the dinner. --tasty indeed.

Dinner Meeting - March 5, 2003

This month's dinner meeting was held at the Ikaros Restaurant. The meals were delicious as usual. The guest speaker, John Gavrilis, a retired Baltimore Police Chief, gave a presentation on the proposed and accepted changes being made to 'Greektown' .

New York City Trip December 14, 2002

Another excursion into the 'Big-Apple' on a rainy December day by a busload of Ahepans, friends and family members.

MPT Telethon with Yanni - December 5, 2002 Nearly 30 members, family members and friends of Worthington Chapter #30 were represented in the second MPT Telethon of this year. A special appearance by the world famous composer and musician, Yanni made it even more special. The goal of $15,000 was far exceeded as a total of $40,000 was realized for the night's work.

The Chapter honored their vets at Ikaros Restaurant. Brother Nicholas Krial acted as MC and Brother Dr. Pete Nickolas introduced his friend Mr. Brady O. Bryson. Mr Bryson recalled his experiences during WWII and later as a lawyer at the Noremburg trials.

MPT Telethon Fund Raiser - March, 2002

Once again the Worthington Chapter No. 30 was called upon to help raise money for Maryland Public Television. (MPT). The Brothers and their families took to the phones to accept donations for the station. By the time the last contribution was logged, the station had reached its $16,000 goal for the evening. Participants in the fundraiser were Pete and Fran Nickolas, Manuel and Candy Soulakis, Angela and Bret James, Tony and Arlene Georgakis, Theo Harris, Shari Lineberger, and Gus Letras.

Walters Art Gallery Tour February 23, 2002

On Saturday morning February 23, a group of brothers and their families were privileged to be given a private tour of several galleries in the Walters Art Museum by the museum’s director, Dr. Gary Vikan. The group was guided through precious collections of carved sarcophagi, Greek vases, statuary, and jewelry from the ancient world. Among the objects in the Medieval World Gallery, the group viewed striking Greek and Russian icons, a reconstruction of a centuries old iconastasis made of tiles, and a collection of Ethiopian art unmatched in the Western World. The group was impressed with Dr. Vikan’s extensive knowledge of the collections and enjoyed his numerous anecdotes. At the end of the tour, President Letras presented Dr. Vikan with a $100 donation from the chapter.

Those attending the tour were (see photo) Steve and Percilla Farlow, Nick and Mary Kiladis, Alice Iouanou, George Stephano and Edith Roth, Bill Koutrelakos, Gus and Maria Letras, Manuel and Candy Soulakis and Pete and Fran Nickolas, and Bob and Despina Horst. The chapter would like to thank Brother Harry Pappas’ wife, Anna, for arranging the tour.

New York City Trip March 30, 2002

A bus-load of AHEPAN's took a pleasant trip to the Big Apple on March 30th. Nearly 50 Brothers, families and friends ventured to that famous city to do as they pleased for a day.
