Applicant Instructions
The applicant must be directly affiliated with the Orthodox community in
the Baltimore area. Extra consideration will be given to Ahepa Family
members which is hereby defined to include either members in good
standing of the junior organizations (Sons of Pericles and Maids of
Athena) or sons or daughters of a member in good standing of the Order
of Ahepa or the Daughters of Penelope within the Baltimore metropolitan
communities. B. Eligibility At the time of application, the applicant must be a student in any
accredited college or university, or must already be a graduate of an
accredited high school, or a student of the graduating class of his/ her
high school and definitely intending to attend college or accredited
trade school the following September. C. Criteria for Selection The applicant must be an outstanding student. The term outstanding is
defined: scholastic achievement, good citizenship, leadership,
understanding of Ahepa ideals, service to the community, school, church
and patriotism. Financial need is also taken into account. |
